Angat Buhay Chairperson Atty. Leni Robredo leads the non-government organization’s ‘Caring for Carers’ event with partners on Monday at the Museo ng Pag-asa in Quezon City. Forty parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with cancer from Kythe Foundation were given a ‘day-off’ and were provided an afternoon of free food, gift bags, and services from different partner organizations such as medical consultations, optical check-ups, massage, and make-up among others.

Kinilala ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Catanduanes ang San Andres Volunteers Network, bahagi ng ating Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network, sa mahalagang papel na ginampanan nila sa relief operations matapos tumama ang Super Typhoon #Pepito sa kanilang lalawigan.

Naging katuwang natin sila sa mabilis at maagap na pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga nasalanta noong nakaraang taon.

Maraming salamat sa pakikipagbayanihan, San Andres Volunteers Network. Nawa’y patuloy kayong maging inspirasyon sa mas marami pang handang tumulong sa oras ng pangangailangan.
