FIVE NEW EDUCARE CENTERS IN NAGA 🏫

With the support of Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) and the Naga Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, five new Educare Centers were turned over in Tabuco, San Felipe, and Pacol. The turnover was led by Mayor Leni Gerona Robredo, with FFCCCII Executive Vice President Jeffrey Ng and Angat Buhay Trustee Judith Azarcon present.

Strengthening early childhood care and development (ECCD) is now a national priority as the Philippines confronts a learning crisis and works to ensure that every child is school-ready by age five. The Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II) has identified ECCD as a key lever for reform, noting a persistent implementation gap where policies exist but quality service delivery remains fragmented.

To help close this gap and turn these classrooms into active learning hubs, Angat Buhay, together with Tanglaw ni Teresa of the Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network, provided an integrated package that prioritizes both resources and people—specialized classroom fixtures, curated ECCD learning materials, and professional development opportunities for Child Development Workers.
