Angat Buhay Chairperson Atty. Leni Robredo leads the non-government organization’s ‘Caring for Carers’ event with partners on Monday at the Museo ng Pag-asa in Quezon City. Forty parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with cancer from Kythe Foundation were given a ‘day-off’ and were provided an afternoon of free food, gift bags, and services from different partner organizations such as medical consultations, optical check-ups, massage, and make-up among others.

Angat Buhay worked with Righters.Ph, part of the Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network, to provide hot meals to families staying in evacuation centers as Mayon Volcano continues to show intensified unrest.

This initiative is part of Angat Buhay’s ongoing humanitarian response, focused on timely and dignified assistance delivered through local volunteers and collaborators, while complementing government-led efforts. We also thank Grab Philippines for their continued collaboration in helping reach communities in times of need.
