ANGAT BUHAY CARES FOR CANCER PATIENT CAREGIVERS

Angat Buhay Chairperson Atty. Leni Robredo leads the non-government organization’s ‘Caring for Carers’ event with partners on Monday at the Museo ng Pag-asa in Quezon City. Forty parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with cancer from Kythe Foundation were given a ‘day-off’ and were provided an afternoon of free food, gift bags, and services from different partner organizations such as medical consultations, optical check-ups, massage, and make-up among others.

Simula umaga hanggang gabi, nagtulungan ang ating #AngatBayanihan volunteers kasama si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray sa pagre-repack ng Pamaskong Handog para sa Reverse Caroling — isang inisyatibo na maghahatid ng saya, pag-asa, at suporta sa mga kababayan nating matinding naapektuhan ng mga nagdaang sakuna sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Habang tuloy-tuloy ang repacking, kasabay ding inaayos at niloload ang mga truck upang maipadala agad ang tulong sa mga komunidad.

Taos-puso ang pasasalamat natin sa lahat ng partners, donors, at volunteer organizations na patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa ating bayanihan. Dahil sa inyong kabutihan at tiwala, nakakarating ang mga munting regalong ito sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan ng ginhawa ngayong Kapaskuhan.

Mula sa ating sama-samang pagkilos, nawa’y maging paalala ang mga regalong ito na hindi sila nag-iisa at may komunidad na handang umalalay sa kanila.
