In July 2023, the Angat Sining Fellowship began as a dream—to empower young Filipino artists to embrace their potential and elevate their voices through art. After several transformative months, guided by the wisdom and talent of esteemed Filipino visual artists like National Artist BenCab, Mark Justiniani, Toym Imao, AG Saño, Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan, Fotobaryo , and The Mighty Bhutens., that dream has become a reality.

Today, we're proud to announce the graduation of our first-ever cohort of the Angat Sining Fellowship for Young Filipino Artists through an art exhibit showcasing their works.

Through passion and creativity, our young artists have grown into storytellers whose art speaks to the heart of Filipino culture and values. Their journey is more than personal growth—it’s a powerful testament to how mentorship, collaboration, and purpose can spark meaningful change.

The program has been made possible through the unwavering support of the Ateneo de Manila University Fine Arts Department and the Metrobank Foundation, Inc., whose dedication to democratizing access to the arts has empowered these young changemakers to envision a brighter, more vibrant future. This exhibit was further enriched through the partnership of the UP College of Fine Arts, UP Fine Arts Gallery, and Fundación Sansó, whose contributions were vital in bringing this vision to life.

Pagpupugay sa inyong tagumpay! Mabuhay ang mga kabataang manlilikha! 💗
